Hello ROBERT, and welcome to the final issue of the WALT DISNEY WORLD® Marathon Weekend XV E-Newsletter. As race weekend approaches, we want to wish you the best of luck! Please continue to check www.disneyworldmarathon.com for updates and alerts leading up to race day.

Weekend Reminders Congratulations, you are part of the WALT DISNEY WORLD® Marathon Weekend! With the excitement building as the event draws near, there are a few reminders that will ensure you have a magical weekend. Packet pick-up will take place at Disney's Health and Fitness Expo Thursday and Friday for the Half Marathon and Thursday, Friday and Saturday for the Marathon. The Expo will be located in the Milk House at Disney's Wide World of Sports® Complex. IMPORTANT: There will be no race day packet pick up. Everything must be picked up at the Expo. Please pick up a WALT DISNEY WORLD® Marathon Weekend Event Guide and Schedule at the Expo to review safety and race updates.

Transportation: Special Marathon Weekend Transportation has been arranged for participants staying at WALT DISNEY WORLD® Resort Hotels. Buses will be indicated by Marathon Weekend Transportation signs placed in the front windows. Times will be listed in the Event Guide and Schedule Book. Guests of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, Disney's Polynesian Resort, and Disney's Contemporary Resort must ride the monorail from their resort to Epcot®.
Spectators: We hope you enjoy sharing in the magic of the WALT DISNEY WORLD® Marathon Weekend. Please use the Spectator Viewing Locations identified in the Event Guide and Schedule Book or the directions in the Spectator Guide to protect the runners' safety. Also, please note that after 7:45 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday, Epcot® will be open for theme park guests and a parking fee of $11.00 will apply when entering the auto plaza (fee is subject to change).

Disney's 5K Family Safari and Heelys® Kids' Race & Roll and Kids' Races

If you are participating in Disney's 5K Family Safari, Kids' Races or Heelys Kids' Race & Roll, you can review final instructions for events at the links below. Participants in Disney's 5K Family Safari must pick up their packets Thursday at the Expo. Kids' Races packet pick-up dates and times are available in the link below.

Spaces are still available for Disney's Kids' Races presented by Heelys® ! At this time you can register your child for the Heelys Kids' Race & Roll or Kids' Races. Online registration for these races will close on Wednesday, January 9, 2008. On-site registration will be available before the races only if a race has not yet reached capacity. Registration on-site will be cash only.

Commemorative Pin/Grandstand Fan/Runners' Retreat Packages
For those of you who pre-purchased any of these packages, a dedicated area for package pick-up will be located in the race packet pick-up area of Disney's Health and Fitness Expo. Look for booths labeled "Commemorative Pin, Runners' Retreat, and Fan Package Pick-up". You are able to pick up any of these packages during the hours of Disney's Health and Fitness Expo. Signs will be posted to direct you to the package pick-up booth.

15th Anniversary Commemorative Pin Pick-Up
If you purchased a commemorative 15th Anniversary Pin, you will be able to pick up your pin at Disney’s Health and Fitness Expo at Disney’s Wide World of Sports® Complex during regular Expo Hours. Pick-up location is in the same area as the Marathon and Half Marathon Race Packet Pick-up. Look for booths labeled “Commemorative Pin, Runners’ Retreat & Fan Package Pick-Up”. Please remember to bring your photo id to pick up your pins. IMPORTANT: Commemorative pins must be picked up at the Expo. Any pins not picked up will not be refunded and will not be mailed out.

Pasta Dinner
The 2008 WALT DISNEY WORLD® Marathon Weekend is proud to offer a special Pasta Dinner for runners, friends, and family prior to the half marathon and marathon at Disney’s Wide World of Sports® Complex during Disney's Health & Fitness Expo. Please remember to bring your photo id to pick up your wristband. Final Instructions are available now!

Runner Tracking
Your family and friends will be able to track you during your race with live online runner tracking. You have the opportunity to send split times via email, text messaging and PDAs by registering for the service online now or at Disney's Health and Fitness Expo.

Clif Bar Pace Team The Clif Bar Pace Team is excited to be the "Official" Pace Team of the Walt Disney World® Marathon! This group of runners truly enjoys helping runners of all abilities achieve their Marathon goals, and are looking forward to meeting and running with you at the 2008 Walt Disney World® Marathon! If you want to run with a pace leader who knows how to keep even splits, get you to the finish within two minutes UNDER the Clif Bar Pace Team time, and enjoy the camaraderie of a group working together towards a common goal, the Clif Bar Pace Team is for you! Groups are being offered in the following official finish times: 3:10, 3:20, 3:30, 3:40, 3:50, 4:00, 4:15, 4:30, 5:00, and 5:30. As always, participation is FREE, and registration is open to ALL runners of the Walt Disney World® Marathon.
