August edition of the WALT DISNEY WORLD® Marathon Weekend E-Newsletter. We
hope that you have had an enjoyable summer thus far.
Hopefully, your training is going well because January is right
around the corner. As of now, there are less than five months
before the 2007 WALT DISNEY WORLD® Marathon Weekend.

Marathon and Half Marathon
Registration Update:
Congratulations
to everyone who registered for the WALT DISNEY WORLD® Half Marathon. The Half Marathon
has reached its registration capacity and is now closed.
Select groups and charities still have Half Marathon spots
available. If your friends or family still want to run the
Half Marathon, they should visit the Groups and Charities page on
www.disneyworldmarathon.com.
Goofy's Race and a Half Challenge
has also reached its registration capacity and is now closed.

Registration for the WALT DISNEY WORLD® Marathon is
currently at 80% of capacity. Please share this
information with any friends or family that are planning on signing
up to be a part of the 2007
WALT DISNEY WORLD® Marathon Weekend. The remaining
spots are filling up fast, so encourage your friends and family to
register today to ensure their spot in the Marathon.

Family Fun Run 5K and Kids'
Races New Date and
Time
Disney's
Family Fun Run 5K will take place at the Disney-MGM
Studios. The race will be run on Friday, January
5 at 7:00 a.m. The
Kids' Races will be run at a separate time and location from the
Family Fun Run 5K. The Kids' Races will be run at
Disney's Wide World of Sports® Complex on both Friday, January 5 and
Saturday, January 6 at 10:00 a.m.
Registration is now available for the
Family Fun Run 5K and Kids' Races. Register today to be among
the first to experience the new course for the
5K.

Benefit to Marathon Weekend
Participants: Disney's
Polynesian Resort is one of three resort stops for the WALT DISNEY
WORLD® Monorail. On race morning, Marathon and Half Marathon
participants will be able to walk out of the resort and take the Monorail
to the Ticket and Transportation Center. From the Ticket and
Transportation Center, participants will transfer to a second Monorail
that will take them to Epcot® for the start of the race.
Marathon participants staying at Disney's Polynesian Resort will be
able to finish the race at Epcot® and take the Monorail
back to the resort.
