Runner's Etiquette
As a service to our first-time Marathoners,
the race staff has compiled some basic Runner's Etiquette tips.

Proof of Time
As a reminder, proof of time is
required since July 1, 2005 for a sub-5:00 Marathon or sub-2:15 Half
Marathon. If you have not submitted proof of time, please
bring your proof to Disney's Health and Fitness Expo to the
Runner's Relations booth.
Disney's Pirate and Princess 5K
Disney's Pirate and Princess Party
Congratulations to all of the royals and
swashbucklers who signed up to be a part of this event, it will be a
race full of adventure that you will "treasure" forever. As a
reminder, the Pirate and Princess 5K will be run on Friday, January 5 at 7:00 a.m. The Pirate and Princess Fun will
continue at Disney's Pirate and Princess Party, a new
special event (separate ticket required) at the Magic Kingdom® Park on 13 select nights from January 22
through March 8, 2007. Become a pirate or princess in the
place where dreams come true as you embark on a quest for beads and
chocolate treasures while visiting pirate coves and princess courts
throughout the Park.

Doubletake Images will be at the Expo, but since space on the poster is limited, the best way to guarantee your poster is to order on-line. CLIF Bar Pace Team
The CLIF Bar Pace Team is excited to be the "Official" Pace Team
of the WALT DISNEY WORLD® Marathon! This group truly enjoys helping runners of all abilities achieve their Marathon
goals. If you want to run with
a pace leader who knows how to keep even splits, get you to the
finish line within two minutes UNDER the CLIF Bar Pace Team time,
and enjoy the camaraderie of a group working together toward a
common goal, the CLIF Bar Pace Team is for you!
Groups are being offered in the following official finish times:
3:10, 3:20, 3:30, 3:40, 3:50, 4:00, 4:15, 4:30, 5:00, and 5:30
(please note, you must participate in a pace group that is within
your assigned coral). As
always, participating is FREE, and registration is open to ALL
runners of the WALT DISNEY WORLD® Marathon. Each online
registrant will be sent a free CLIF BAR TRAINING KIT, which includes
samples of their products along with some useful training and
race-day tips.
